John Viola
Coming from a financial services background over 25 years ago to become one of the first FIFA registered football agents in the UK, John is a vastly experienced agent having negotiated several high profile and global transfers throughout his career.
John became one of the first modern football agents in the UK in 1995 and has conducted transfers worldwide, at the highest level and to the highest standard.
He has dealt with some of the highest profile players in the world, such as Luis Figo and represented hugely talented players such as Roberto Carlos among many more.
Phil McTaggart
Phil McTaggart has 21+ years’ experience working within football. After joining John Viola in the football industry he quickly became the youngest officially registered agent in Europe at the time.
Phil has been privileged to work with a range of high profile football players, clubs, agencies & service providers across the globe, including those in the world’s top leagues and so have developed a vast range of contacts within the playing, commercial and off-field sides of the industry.
Together John & Phil form 451 Football Consultancy – a unique, modern football agency with experience that is unrivalled in many corners of the business.
Background
When John started out as a Football Agent he had to pay a £100,000 bond to FIFA to get his licence. When Phil joined him not long after, the bond had been removed and replaced with a notoriously gruelling entry exam which thousands failed each year.
But since then everything has changed, in 2015 FIFA scrapped all regulations needed to become a Football Agent.
However you still need the knowledge and expertise to do the job right.
That's why John & Phil created the John Viola Academy, a revolutionary training system which is designed to pass on their 40+ years of combined elite experience onto budding agents worldwide.
After years of training new agents, John & Phil have decided to throw open the doors and hold this industry first free event, to meet the public and give them an introduction to the John Viola Academy's in-depth pathway to joining them in the Football Agent's Industry...
